The Adani Group runs a number of businesses, including airports, ports, and power generation and distribution. In the early hours of Monday, Adani and his family had a net worth of $123.2 billion, compared to Warren Buffett‘s $121.7 billion.

Elon Musk, the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, is at the top of the Forbes list right now. His net worth is $269.7 billion. In third place is Jeff Bezos (net worth $170.2 billion), LVMH owner Bernard Arnault and his family (net worth $166.8 billion), and Microsoft founder Bill Gates (net worth $130.2 billion), according to the data. Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani is in eighth place with a net worth of $104.2 billion.

Gautam Adani said last week that if the country has a $30 trillion economy by 2050, it can also be home to a country where no one goes to bed hungry.
